This professional development activity helps educators and therapy practitioners support students in engaging in meaningful activities that enhance participation in educational, social, and leisure tasks. The workshop explores how visual perception deficits can impact a child’s ability to learn, socialize, and perform self-care. Participants will learn about the critical link between vision, visual perception, and learning, gaining evidence-based guidelines for assessing and addressing these issues. By understanding how children process information visually, practitioners can better support those with visual perception challenges. The course aims to equip professionals with the tools needed to improve children’s learning outcomes.
